My name is Emily Arcuri.
"These are not books, lumps of lifeless paper, but minds alive on the shelves.” I found this sign when my family was visiting Baltimore, and I had to get a picture with it. When I saw it, I knew it summed up exactly why I love reading and writing—it’s a form of communication that can stimulate new thinking, imagination, and memories.
I graduated from Bloomsburg University with a B.A. in English/Creative Writing and a Professional Writing minor. After gaining marketing and editorial experience, I worked at a digital marketing agency managing web content.
I've honed my copywriting and editing skills, as well as my ability to manage projects and deadlines, connect with various audiences, communicate on the web, and create content for a variety of different platforms. I thrive in a fast-paced environment, and I value attention to detail and creativity. I love mentoring students and working with lifelong learners, which is what drew me to my current position in the dynamic Communications Department at Milton Hershey School.
